Eyecare is important for everyone but because children’s eyes are still developing it’s especially important to monitor their vision and eye health. Much of children’s learning is visual and catching any problems with their eyes early on can prevent a great deal of difficulty.

The best thing you can do for children’s eye health is to have them come in for a comprehensive eye examination on a regular basis.
We screen for all sorts of eye conditions common in children, check their eyesight and track their visual development.
Our eye examinations are designed to make sure we catch any issue early on so you can have complete reassurance about your child’s eye health.
Our eye examinations are also free through the NHS for children under 16 and teenagers under 19 in full-time education.
Short-sightedness, or myopia, is a disorder that commonly appears in childhood and impairs one's ability to view distant things. Myopia worsens over time, especially in childhood, therefore it's crucial to treat it appropriately and aggressively.
